The commitment to professional ethics is a commitment to the excellence of individuals and organizations, which can be achieved through the education of professionals with a strong ethical sense. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to reflect on, study, and delve deeper into the scientific nature of professional ethics. However, in a world flooded with information, it is increasingly difficult to discern what is true in any field of knowledge, which leads us to the following questions: How can we respond to problems in the professional field in accordance with ethics? Do all ethics have equal value? Why commit to realistic ethics? Is the Thomistic approach to the problems facing professional ethics today still valid? Is it possible to reconcile a philosophical approach with the approaches taken in the professional world, including those that approach ethics as a professional competence? What place does the virtue of justice occupy in the world of professional ethics? What place does the family have within the professional sphere? This work grounds the approach to professional ethics from a realistic perspective, linking it to current discussions and applications, with an emphasis on justice. It also addresses the reality of the family because it is impossible to assume a professional ethic that seeks excellence in individuals and organizations while ignoring the reality most proximate to all people: their family life. Therefore, it explains the natural nature of the family and how it shapes society. Corporate family responsibility is then addressed.
